Dr Piotr Nowotnik is a microbiologist and researcher in the field of veterinary and environmental biotechnology. He holds a PhD in veterinary sciences and is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences. His research interests focus on the study of infections and the evaluation of antimicrobial solutions. He specializes in infection microbiology and host–pathogen interactions, with particular emphasis on mechanisms of virulence, infection models, including in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo systems - following EUCAST and CLSI standards. He is currently affiliated with ProBiotics Polska Group.
