Dr. Arthur Ouwehand is working a Technical Fellow at International Flavors and Fragrances (formerly Dupont and Danisco) since 2004. Arthur received his M.Sc. degree (1992) from Wageningen University (Netherlands) and his Ph.D. degree (1996) in microbiology from University of Gothenburg (Sweden). Since 1999 he is functioning as Adjunct Professor at the University of Turku (Finland). Arthur is chairman of the ILSI Europe, Probiotic Task Force and co-chair of the IPA Postbiotics Committee, and he is an active member of ISAPP and IDF. Further, Arthur is the author of more than 300 journal articles and book chapters on probiotics and prebiotics.
