Laurent Pineau graduated from the University of Angers in 2011 with a PhD in immunology. He then joined the team of Pr Bart STAELS at the Pasteur Institute of Lille, as a research engineer where he explored obesity associated immuno-metabolic complications. Since 2015 he took in charge the management of the cytometry platform at the European Genomic Institute for Diabetes (Lille). Laurent PINEAU joined the Lesaffre Research, Developement & Innovation teams since 2022 as Scientist within the Nutrition, Microbiota & Health team. He is in charge of immune and cell biology assay implementation and ingredient testing.
