Christian holds a PhD in Molecular Biology, an Executive MBA, and twenty years of cancer research experience, followed by twelve years inside four leading microbiome organisations: Quadram Institute, EnteroBiotix, CosmosID, and Eagle Genomics. Since moving into advisory, he has worked with organisations globally and across the sector, supporting founders, executives and investors on strategy, innovation and foresight. In 2026, Christian co-founded Microbiome Futures with Pierre Burguière, a think tank exploring the intersection of microbiome science and space explorationwith one focus on the gut health and nutrition of astronauts.
