Best Poster Award 2026

The Best Poster Award will be presented to the winner of the presenting author of the most outstanding poster paper that fulfils the following criteria:

• the presenting author is under the age of 32 and a PhD or a PhD student
• they applied for the Best Poster Award when submitting their online abstract submission
• authors must submit their poster in a PDF format by 1st May 2026 for pre-evaluation of the Scientific Committee and printing

The Scientific Committee of IPC, led by Arthur Ouwehand, will elect the most outstanding poster paper and the winners will be announced on day three of IPC 2026.

The winner will receive a certificate and a personal editorial invitation to contribute an article to the journal, recognising their contribution to advancing research in the field. In addition, the winners will be awarded Amazon vouchers: €200 for first place, €100 for second place, and €50 for third place.
