HOW TO GET THERE
AT THE AIRPORT
Vaclav Havel Airport Prague handles flights from within Europe and from overseas. It is located 30 – 45 minutes by car from the center of Prague. There are good connections between the airport and the city center by public transport – buses and taxis.

There are a number of transport options available from the airport. We recommend using Public Transport from the airport to the city center or to the Prague Congress Centre. The ticket fare is 32 CZK (1.2 EUR) valid for 90 minutes including transfers between metro, trams, Prague public transport buses (lines No‘s 100 – 299 and 901 – 915), the Petřín funicular, public transport ferries and selected railway line sections.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT FROM / TO THE PRAGUE AIRPORT
Bus stops are situated in front of the arrival hall of Terminal 1 and 2.
Bus 119: Prague Airport – Nadraží Veleslavín (metro line A) – 15 min – Recommended option for city center and Prague Congress Centre
Bus 100: Prague Airport – Zlicin (metro line B) – 18 min
Bus 179: Prague Airport – Nové Butovice (metro line B) – 45 min
Airport Express Bus: Prague Airport – Prague Main Train Station (metro line C) – 35 min (exclusive fare rate)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TICKET SALE
You will need a single ticket for transfer from the airport (or main station) to the Prague Congress Centre.
Public transport counters in arrival halls of Terminals 1 & 2 are available from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ticket machines are placed at bus stops or at the arrival terminals (cash or credit card)

HOW TO GET TO THE VENUE BY METRO (SUBWAY)
Prague has a sophisticated underground (metro), tram and bus transportation system. During peak hours, trains run every 1 or 2 minutes and during off-peak hours at least every 10 minutes. The metro operates daily from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Prague metro network consists of 3 lines designated by letters and differentiated by color: A – green color (Depo Hostivař station – Motol station), B – yellow color (Černý Most station – Zličín station), C – red colour (Letňany – Háje station), with transfers possible at Muzeum station (lines A and C), Můstek station (lines A and B), Florenc station (lines B and C).
The Prague Congress Centre is right next to the Vyšehrad metro station (line C).
From the Václav Havel Airport: bus 119 to Nádraží Veleslavín – metro line A (direction Depo Hostivař) to Muzeum station – transfer to line C direction Háje to Vyšehrad station (2 stops)
From Prague main station: metro C line direction Háje to Vyšehrad station (4 stops)
From Florenc bus terminal: metro C line direction Háje to Vyšehrad station (5 stops)

BY TRAM
The nearest tram stop is Svatoplukova. Located in Nusle, directly underneath Nusle Bridge (Nuselský Most). Tram numbers 7, 18 and 24 stop here. After getting off the tram walk under the railway line and up the steps through the park straight to the Prague Congress Centre, which you will be able to see above you.
Daytime tram operation runs from 5:00 a.m. to 24:00 a.m. Night tram lines 91–99 operate approx. between 0:00 and 5:00 in 30 minute intervals. At night on friday/saturday and saturday/Sunday, the interval is shortened to 20 minutes. The station Lazarská is a central transfer stop where all the lines meet. Complete a.m. schedules are located at individual stops or online.
BY TAXI
When taking a taxi, make sure the taxi is equipped with a permanently installed yellow roof lamp with the TAXI sign in black letters. The registration number, company name and price list including the base rate, rate per kilometer and one-minute-waiting rate must be displayed on both front doors of the cab. These prices must correspond with the prices set on the meter in the cab. Customers are recommended to order a taxi with non-stop dispatching offices where the information on fares is available in advance.
The most comfortable option is to use one of many taxi services mobile applications. Czech app “Liftago” connects several taxi providers in one application. Install and use it as it is safe and reliable.
In the city center taxis are easy to hail from the street, but we strongly recommend that you use hotel taxis or obtain taxis by phone through the radio taxi service e.g. AAA (+ 420 14 014), City Taxi (+420 257 257 257) or Speed Cars (+420 224 234 234).
Boarding charge: approximately 40 CZK.
Journeys within the city: approximately 28 CZK/ 1 kilometer. Do not board the taxi without finding out if there is a fixed rate.
BY UBER
Uber works properly in Prague, you can use your account to transfer to the congress venue or other places around Prague.
BY CAR
Participants arriving by car are advised to use the underground parking space available. Parking fees are not included in the registration fee.
BIKE SHARING AND RENTAL
You can explore Prague in an exciting way connected with a heathy life style. You can either enjoy sightseeing in the city center or relaxing along the Vltava river.
