KUTNÁ HORA
See the medieval town of Kutna Hora 80 kms from Prague. Explore the 13th-century area known for its silver mines. See the famous bones inside Sedlec Ossuary and the UNESCO-listed St Barbara’s Cathedral.
Recommended transport by Czech Railways. Run every hour from the main station. 55 mins traveling time. One way ticket round 4 EUR.
BOHEMIAN AND SAXON SWITZERLAND NATIONAL PARK
On the boarder with Germany on the way to Dresden on the right side of Elbe river you can stay in the middle of Central Europe’s most beautiful landscapes. The National Park is easily accessible by train Prague – Decin and tourist bus 434 from Decin main station to the sandstone National park. More information here.
Recommended transport by Czech Railways. Train to Decin run every hour from Prague Holesovice station: 1h 30min traveling time to Decin. One way ticket round 7 EUR. Then take tourist bus 434.
FAMOUS SPAS IN WESTERN BOHEMIA
Visit two of the Czech Republic’s elegant spa towns. Head into forested west Bohemia to the town of Karlovy Vary, known for its twelve mineral springs. Explore the town with its graceful colonnades, taste some waters and discover its other claims to fame — crystal glassware, porcelain and herbal liqueur Becherovka. Other option would be to go to Marianske lazne. Another hotspot in Western Bohemia.

ČESKÝ KRUMLOV
Explore the UNESCO-listed town of Cesky Krumlov on the day trip from Prague. Accompanied by an expert guide, travel through the scenic Bohemian countryside to arrive in this beautifull town at Vltava River. See the church of St. Vitus, the historic town center and the Cesky Krumlov Castle, dating back to 1240.

KARLŠTEJN AND SVATÝ JAN
Visit spectacular, 14th-century Karlstejn Castle. Travel by train along Berounka river to this picturesque, hilltop palace-fortress, perched above dense green forests. Walk to the gate, and tour the key areas, including the Imperial Palace as you learn how the castle was built by Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV to safeguard his imperial jewels. Immerse yourself in medieval times as you stroll through chambers and halls adorned with frescos, paintings and other treasures, including a replica crown.
For extension, try to walk around Svaty Jan Monastery. Beautifull sceneries.
